Attended Canadian Academy, then moved to Australia where I spent most of my childhood/adolescence years. I then moved back to Japan to finish my last few years of high school, and in 2011, graduated Senri Osaka International School.
Graduated International Christian University
Began my career as an educator at LITALICO, where I worked closely with students with learning differences, by developing individualized learning strategies to support them reach their academic goals and build confidence in their social skills.
After working closely with students, their parents, and several of their teachers, I recognized the importance of understanding the classroom teacher’s perspective. I decided to pursue my teaching license and applied for a Master’s degree in Education.
I began my career as a teacher at Tokyo YMCA International School as the Grade 6 homeroom teacher, while also serving as the Academic Support Coordinator, where I applied my background in learning support.
Wanting to return to work with students with learning differences, I joined Tokyo International Progressive School and held several roles, including Curriculum Coordinator and Career Counselor.
Throughout my teaching career, I dedicated each school break to facilitate short courses for students. In 2024, I transitioned into a full-time leadership role as Director of UWC Short Courses at UWC ISAK Japan.
After being part of 10 short courses and having directed 5, I parted ways with the school and began working as a tutor at International Tutor Osaka!
